Allama Iqbal Open University Admissions are started at different times, as there are various levels of exams are started. AIOU conducts exams in matric, inter, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. AIOU starts admissions in different programs and the admission department announces the dates of the admission in the relevant field. AIOU admission schedules are provided to the students through their website or from the newspapers, so that the interested candidates can get admission and start preparation of the annual exams.

AIOU matric, intermediate, bachelor, master and doctoral admissions are provided to the students and they can apply to appear in the relevant annual exams. AIOU annual exams are conducted after two or three months after receiving the admission forms. AIOU annual exams result is provided to the students on the website and also on this page. The students should keep in touch with this page to get the latest updates of their AIOU SSC, HSSC, BA/BSc, MA/MSc, MPhil, BS, MS, BBA, MBA, B.Com, M.Com and PhD results. Allama Iqbal Open University set up various regional offices in different main and big cities for the facility of the students, so that they can make contact with them and get information regarding admission, education, courses, semesters and different departments along with short courses to the certificate, diploma and degrees.

As and when the exams department of Allama Iqbal Open University announces the admissions or the exams of any class, then the news of admission or examinations are provided to the students through this site with all relevant information and the candidates can get the latest information from this site and carry on their education. All the students, who do not come to the big cities and they have to face some financial constraints, they can continue their education while sitting in their homes. They can make contact with the nearest regional office of AIOU, and get information regarding admission and start preparing their education. AIOU provides books and other reading material at their doorsteps and they can prepare their education in the light of instructions of Allama Iqbal Open University.

Actual admission forms for continuing students are not available.the form containing serial number alomg with copies of 3 bank chalan are not available.the forms available are nor in proper form.the forms ,books,despatached by aiou to stdents usually are nor received to students and they get duplicate down loaded from net.bur such facility is still unavaiable for current admissionsspring 2018.
